Hi,
With the SAGE system, the QR code is a digital code displayed on the EntryKiosk. When you invite a guest or family member, and even for yourself if you are arriving in a vehicle that is not your own, you will open the SAGE app and tap GAIN ACCESS. This will open the camera to point at the QR code to open the gate.
Older, less secure systems create QR codes on the phone to be sent. This process is a security risk because it allows for abuse when dishonest people take a screenshot and share the QR code with others. SAGE is dedicated to creating Secure Access for Gated Environments.
